Whether I believe I can or not,
The seed is sown, the path is wrought.
A whisper shapes the rising day,
Belief becomes the guiding way.
“I cannot do it,” speaks defeat—
The ground gives way beneath my feet.
The world reflects my silent doubt,
And every door stays bolted out.
“I can,” I say, and skies expand,
The mountains bow, the storms disband.
What once was far begins to near,
Faith makes even shadows clear.
I choose my truth with steady hand,
And dare to hope, and dare to stand.
For in my heart, the future lies:
I build my world behind my eyes.
It is not fate that writes my line,
But what I claim as truth divine.
The world becomes what I decree—
It is done unto me as I believe.

Science of Mind is a Philosophy, a Faith, and a Way of Life. It was developed in the early 20th century by writer and philosopher Ernest Holmes.
